GNUmed Live CD updated

Hi all,

Thanks to the great work of the Debian-med and Debian-Live teams the GNUmed project can now offer an updated version of the GNUmed Live CD.

Based on Debian Lenny the CD provides a fully configured GNUmed EMR environment. It contains version 0.3.10 of the client and version 0.9.2-2 of the server which was released just yesterday.

Future plans include to host Debian, Ubuntu, openSUSE, Mandriva, Fedora and Windows binaries in their respective repositories on the CD so the media will be a demo and installation media.

The boot screen has been customized to provide localization of GNUmed, keyboard layout, window manager in French, Spanish, German, English.

Let us know what you think.

Why have you decided to completely steal the Banshee Project's website CSS and makeup and not provide credit as required by the Creative Commons license?

I think you should answer Ed's question. Your site is a blatant ripoff of Banshee Media Player's web site.

Thank you for (finally) addressing the problem.

Hi all,

While we are in the middle of working with Aaron from Banshee to see what we can do (if not take it down) I would like to hear your input.

Is the layout of the website and/or colors too close ? Do you feel everything needs rewording ?

Is the wording of the pages (support, downloads) so at heart to the banshee content that it cannot be used for other software.

FYI interest I have inquired about getting a two weeks time frame to work this out. If no agreement has been reached by then we will most likely do away with the site and just have no page as before.
