The good news is that GNUmed has seen a steady development over the last few years. The way it currently looks this will not change. The next major release (version 1.3) is about to be released.
To bring this new release to the Windows platform as well as other Linux distributions besides Debian Linux we need help. If you are willing to learn what it takes by being mentored from start to end please contact us.
We have the ressources to teach you how to prepare and distribute packages for Debian, Ubuntu, openSUSE, Fedora, Mac and Windows but we currently lack the time to prepare the packages every time a new version of GNUmed is released.
If you want to help bringing the latest and greates GNUmed to more people (by creating packages) please let us know.
